Role-play a DQI workshop

DQI uses workshops to gather everyone’s ideas. In a small group, role-play a DQI workshop, or discuss the people who attend. Your workshop will include a range of stakeholders. Download the roles (935 KB)

Think about who you will represent in the workshop:

  • How will you put your views across?
  • What questions will you ask?
  • What features will you want the designer to include?

Imagine that this is about your own school or college. Prepare views and ideas of your own. This will help your role-play to feel more real.

  • Role-play your workshop.
  • As a group, agree on the most important features to include in the new design.

  • There is no right answer or outcome.
  • Allow each person to have a say.
  • Allow people to ask questions.
  • Don’t let people talk over each other.
  • You must agree your changes as a group.
