Skills development
The content is divided into four phases, or topic areas:
Each phase includes a variety of topics and activities. These encourage students to:
- explore real situations and extend their learning
- apply their knowledge and understanding
- work together to solve problems and complete tasks
- connect their learning to a future career.
At the end of each phase, students can enter the Build a school game. This interactive learning game again explores each of the four phases above. Playing the game helps students to review their learning and, importantly, experience a complex project from beginning to end. Students do not have to have completed the other activities in order to play the game. They can play each phase individually, or attempt all four in a single session.
