Data collection

Teachers need to register to be provided with log in details for their students and to track students’ work across the site. Data will only be used and stored securely in relation to cbelearning – build your future and will not be shared with third parties.

Submitting personal information about yourself (such as name/email address) to this website will result in those details being used only for official purposes related to the cbelearning – build your future site and/or the resource or programme, and we will not pass them on to any third party. This complies with the Data Protection Act 1998.

When using the site with a password, a unique file called a cookie is placed on your web browser. This allows us to track users' pathways through the site. It does not allow us to record any personal information about you such as your name, address, telephone number or email address. The information that we collect and share is anonymous and will not be used to identify individuals. Only registered users can track their own students’ work across the website.

Neither our website, the web server hosting our website or any software used to audit our website automatically recognise information regarding your e-mail address. IP addresses are used to identify the location of users and the number of visits.
